- Develop, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns across acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation programs.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators for all email initiatives, leveraging insights to improve campaign performance.
- Lead segmentation strategies, behavioral targeting, and A/B testing to refine audience engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency, editorial quality, and design standards across all email communications.
- Collaborate with editorial, AdOps, and marketing teams to support integrated, omnichannel campaigns and newsletter monetization efforts.
- Analyze performance data and deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders, presenting results and strategic insights.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing structure, feedback, and performance guidance.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or newsletter publishing with ownership of program performance.
- 1+ year of experience managing or mentoring team members, including setting priorities and supporting professional development.
- Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Marketo, Sailthru) and hands-on campaign execution.
- Strong skills in email segmentation, automation workflows, behavioral targeting, and A/B testing.
- Proficiency in analyzing campaign data using tools like Google Analytics, Looker, or similar BI platforms to inform optimization strategies.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with editorial, marketing, AdOps, or operations teams.
- Strong writing, editing, and copywriting skills to craft compelling email content and calls-to-action.
- Familiarity with newsletter monetization, sponsorships, advertising integrations, or affiliate programs.
- Ability to present insights and recommendations to executives and mentor junior team members effectively.
