Role Description

Proactively generate new business by promoting pharmaceutical market research services through targeted outreach, networking, and industry engagement.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new opportunities through industry connections, referrals, and proactive prospecting, identifying pharmaceutical companies that can benefit from custom market research and strategic insights.
  • Lead early-stage sales conversations with pharmaceutical brand and commercial teams, positioning tailored market research solutions to address key business questions.
  • Convert opportunities into revenue by developing persuasive proposals and closing new market research engagements.
  • Expand the consultancy’s footprint within pharmaceutical organizations by identifying new stakeholders and uncovering additional research opportunities.
  • Take ownership of personal revenue targets while contributing to the overall growth of the firm’s market research consulting business.
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape growth strategy and prioritize high-value client opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience within a pharmaceutical or healthcare market research agency or consultancy (required).
  • A demonstrated track record of winning new business and generating revenue from pharmaceutical and life sciences clients (required).
  • Strong commercial instincts with the confidence to prospect, open doors, and develop new client relationships.
  • Experience selling custom market research and insights engagements to pharmaceutical brand and commercial teams.
  • Ability to identify client challenges and position tailored research solutions that address key business questions.
  • Proven success building and managing a pipeline of opportunities and converting leads into closed projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior client stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with leadership to support business growth and expansion.
