Job Description
Role Description
PlayOn is looking for a Senior Product Designer who is AI-forward, with strong product instincts, refined interaction and visual design skills, and a deep focus on user and business outcomes to join our Ticketing team. This designer will lead the vision and execution of the full B2B2C experience across GoFan, the leading platform for high school digital ticketing.
- Own design for both sides of the platform: internal admin tools and consumer-facing UI.
- Shape the broader ticketing ecosystem spanning mobile apps, web surfaces, and point-of-sale software.
- Own complex, high-impact problem spaces—from discovery and strategy through execution and iteration.
- Partner closely with PMs, engineers, and go-to-market teams to expand GoFan’s reach into new markets and customer segments.
- Reframe and visualize the next evolution of GoFan’s product vision and market positioning.
- Leverage AI to process customer and consumer insights at scale and accelerate iteration cycles.
Outcomes You’ll Deliver
- Drive the next evolution of the GoFan experience across both admin and consumer surfaces.
- Design seamless, conversion-oriented B2C experiences that elevate the fan journey—from event discovery to checkout and entry.
- Design efficient, intuitive B2B admin workflows that empower event organizers.
- Create flexible, scalable UI and workflows that adapt to emerging customer types and event structures.
- Leverage AI to synthesize customer and consumer insights and inform design decisions.
- Help define and visualize the future vision of GoFan, aligning design direction with product and brand strategy.
- Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability.
To thrive in this role, you have
- 5-8 years of experience in product design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong systems thinking and measurable product impact.
- Proven success designing both B2B and B2C products with large, diverse user bases.
- Experience leading design for multi-platform products (native apps + responsive web).
- Mastery of Figma and familiarity with design systems and modern design workflows.
- A demonstrated AI-forward approach to design.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate product vision into clear, actionable design direction.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- A collaborative approach that helps teams align around the user.
How You Play
- Ownership over Participation: You take responsibility for achieving holistic outcomes and adapt quickly when situations require a different approach.
- Team over Stars: You establish processes and relationships with teams outside your own to rally around common goals.
- Growth over Comfort: You actively seek opportunities to expand your comfort zone, skills, and confidence.
- Fairness over Popularity: You approach decisions with a scientist’s mindset, considering long-term impact.
Benefits
- Multiple medical insurance plans to choose from.
- Dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
- Employee Emergency Fund.
- Company equity (stock options).
- Open PTO policy.
- 401K plan with company match.
- Hybrid/flexible work environment.
