Job Description

Position: Financial Coach 
Status:
Part-Time, PRN (per circumstance and as needed)
Reports To: Clinical Director of Employer Services 
Location: Remote
 
Compensation: 

•    Bachelors (or equivalent):  $25 - $70 
•    Masters: $70 - $135 
•    PhD/Doctorate: $130 - $165 

What You'll Do:
•    
Finding connections to financial resources
•    Coordinating and helping to complete a comprehensive assessment addressing the client’s goals and where they are in their financial journey.
•    Meeting with client 1-5 times per week in the community, home or remote settings for coaching and to monitor client progress, with follow-up calls as appropriate.
•    Creating short and long-term personal goal plans; daily tracking of progress through case notes.
•    Providing connections to endorsed community resources.
•    Other duties as assigned


What You'll Bring:
•  
 Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent
•    Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial coaching, counseling or advising
•    Valid Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) certification
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
•    Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
•    Comfort and quick learning curve with technology on day-to-day tasks (i.e. Microsoft Office, Salesforce)
•    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ideally you have (but not required):
•    Experience with clients with behavioral health diagnoses
•    Experience with corporate employees
•    Knowledge of behavioral health, psychology or the healthcare industry
•    Demonstrated engagement in community service initiatives, particularly those focused on underserved communities.
•    An understanding of social responsibility and how to contribute positively to the well- being of others.

This position is part-time and per circumstance only, and hours are not guaranteed per week. Coaches on our staff list are contacted on an as-needed basis for cases as they arise.
