Job Description
Michael Baker International is growing, and we are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner for our corporate Talent Acquisition team! This role is designed for a highly motivated, driven in‑house/corporate recruiter with deep recruiting knowledge and expertise in the tech space and a strong ability to partner consultatively with technical and business leaders within a complex, fast paced organization. The ideal candidate will bring seven (7) or more years of hands‑on technical recruiting experience as part of a corporate/in house recruiting team on a variety of current and emerging technologies and roles, and will have a demonstrated ability to source, attract, evaluate, and close highly qualified technical talent across multiple technology disciplines.
- Own and execute end‑to‑end, full‑cycle technical recruiting from requisition intake through offer acceptance for complex, high‑impact technical opportunities across Michael Baker International
- Partner closely with hiring managers, technical leaders, and HR stakeholders to:
- Understand role scope and technical requirements, resourcing needs, and long‑term workforce objectives and business goals
- Shape hiring strategies, role scoping, and talent market approaches
- Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to internal hiring stakeholders across assigned business areas by providing market intelligence, compensation insight, talent availability trends, and competitive hiring guidance
- Perform daily outbound sourcing and engagement activities using Oracle Recruiting Cloud ATS and external recruiting tools, resources and platforms, and proactively pipeline warm technical talent using advanced sourcing techniques by leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, Boolean searches, targeted outreach campaigns and AI automation resources and techniques
- Evaluate applicant technical qualifications, experience, and alignment through structured phone screening and interview support
- Deliver a high‑quality candidate experience while ensuring compliance and data integrity within our ATS
- Manage multiple technical requisitions simultaneously with strong organization, communication, prioritization, and follow‑through with all hiring stakeholders throughout the recruitment cycle until req fulfillment
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition & business leadership on process/system improvement initiatives, recruiting tools, and hiring effectiveness initiatives
- Contribute to broader talent initiatives such as workforce planning, hiring manager enablement, and market benchmarking
- A four year Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years proven, relevant recruiting experience primarily focused on identifying, attracting and closing technical talent for a variety of technical role types and levels
- Demonstrated past success sourcing and recruiting complex, competitive and emerging technical skillsets for mid to large sized corporations as a key contributor
- Strong client facing consultative and advisory skills and an ability to influence hiring stakeholders
- Advanced outbound sourcing knowledge and experience using external recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, hireEZ, and other job boards/tools to develop, grow and cultivate warm pipelines with prospective talent
- Experience working within a mid to large size ATS and CRM, along with razor sharp attention to ATS data input accuracy & timeliness
