Role Description
Reporting to the VP, Direct Sales, the Housing Sales Director drives revenue growth by selling Experian's data, analytics, decisioning, and fraud mitigation solutions to housing lenders and servicers. You will focus on expanding strategic relationships and identifying new opportunities within assigned accounts. It delivers value‑based solutions that support clients across the mortgage lifecycle, from lead acquisition and prequalification through underwriting, servicing, and portfolio retention.

Revenue Growth and Sales Execution
- Detailed business knowledge of the mortgage/home equity industry and its offerings.
- Experience managing client relationships in the housing industry.
- Experience exceeding financial/revenue budgets.
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, analysis, solution positioning, contracting, and closing.
- Manage revenue streams with existing mortgage/home equity clients that require skillful planning to drive account penetration.
- Create a vision, strategy, and account plan to achieve revenue goals and ensure success.
- Implement consultative solution selling strategies to build a pipeline of opportunities through innovation and strategic alliances.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions on large contracts.
- Accountable for data and reporting accuracy (account/opportunity management, dashboards, forecast, and GAP reporting).

Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Be a strategic advisor leading engagement with clients' executives and decision-makers.
- Drive client engagement routines that support brand and client loyalty as a trusted partner.
- Partner with clients to introduce new Experian capabilities that improve workflow, risk management, and operational efficiency.

Solution Expertise & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Orchestrate internal resources that align to external client strategies and priorities.
- Motivate and lead teams without direct reporting relationships to lead strategy and revenue growth.
- Maintain knowledge of Experian's housing solution suite, including credit, verification, decisioning, fraud/identity, marketing services, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with product, sales engineering, marketing, and implementation teams to deliver high‑quality client experiences.
- Provide feedback to product teams on market trends, client needs, and competitive insights.

Industry Insight
- Stay current on mortgage industry trends, including origination volumes, servicing challenges, regulatory changes, and digital-lending innovations.
- Represent Experian at industry tradeshows, conferences, and client events.
Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree
- 10+ years experience within mortgage industry and information services sector and understanding solutions across the mortgage lifecycle
- Experience selling credit bureau or verification solutions (tri‑merge, soft pull, fraud/ID, income/asset/employment).
- Established relationships with top mortgage lenders and servicers.
- Familiarity with LOS/POS platforms, credit and verification workflows, and industry integrations.
- Work in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment with internal collaboration.
- Creative mindset that looks to solve client needs while challenging the status quo.
- Willingness to travel
