Job Description
Role Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Accountant to join our growing organization. Requires flexibility, teamwork, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and attention to detail with accuracy under time constraints. Must have a working knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable and general ledger accounts.
- Timely and accurate completion of payroll processing
- Accounts payable entry and payment of invoices
- Communication with vendors
- Cash posting for vendor debits
- Monthly administrative invoicing and cash posting
- Ensure complete and accurate routine reconciliations of cash, credit card liability and other balance sheet accounts as necessary
- Field and resolve inquiries
- Company credit card program
- Be a player in the year-end audit; reconciliations and documentation for use by external auditors
- Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Two years’ experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Must have payroll experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks assigned, while ensuring the accuracy of work and completion within designated deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Exhibit good decision-making skills and be a strong contributor to the accomplishment of goals and priorities
- Be open to change to improve processes, strengthen controls and gain efficiencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of healthcare and revenue cycle management is a plus
- Knowledge of OBGYN especially a plus
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred
