Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Accountant to join our growing organization. Requires flexibility, teamwork, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and attention to detail with accuracy under time constraints. Must have a working knowledge of payroll processing, accounts payable and general ledger accounts.

  • Timely and accurate completion of payroll processing
  • Accounts payable entry and payment of invoices
  • Communication with vendors
  • Cash posting for vendor debits
  • Monthly administrative invoicing and cash posting
  • Ensure complete and accurate routine reconciliations of cash, credit card liability and other balance sheet accounts as necessary
  • Field and resolve inquiries
  • Company credit card program
  • Be a player in the year-end audit; reconciliations and documentation for use by external auditors
  • Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Must have payroll experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks assigned, while ensuring the accuracy of work and completion within designated deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Exhibit good decision-making skills and be a strong contributor to the accomplishment of goals and priorities
  • Be open to change to improve processes, strengthen controls and gain efficiencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare and revenue cycle management is a plus
  • Knowledge of OBGYN especially a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with NetSuite is preferred
