THE ROLE
TRIP is seeking a Director of Sales, West on the Field, Distribution, & Regional Account team that will manage the following territories in the United States: AK, WA, OR, ID, MT, NV, CA, AZ, and HI. This role will lead and hire a team of sales managers while overseeing sales plans, distribution management, & retail execution tactics across various channels of business throughout the west.
Key responsibilities:
Assign and develop account portfolios, including independent customers and regional chains.
Implement channel strategies to align shelving, pricing, and merchandising with brand goals.
Foster collaboration with internal teams across sales leadership, marketing, finance, and supply chain.
Build and mentor a high-performing sales team with clear objectives and support.
Monitor team performance and implement corrective actions for improvement.
Utilize our CRM tool and other analytics to enhance distribution, optimize trade spend, and minimize OOS
Manage P&L reporting for various accounts, ensuring financial adherence.
Identify market trends to enhance category position and dollar share growth.
Understand key customer needs and communicate effectively with internal teams.
Evaluate ROI for POS solutions and manage account-specific programming and budgets.
Deliver business reviews for each account as needed with action plans to drive growth
ABOUT YOU
7-10 years of beverage sales experience across multiple channels of trade.
5+ years of field management experience with a field execution sales team.
Proficiency in P&L management and financial reporting.
Advanced knowledge of syndicated data for building sales strategies.
Proven success in business development and market growth.
Skills in crafting and delivering sales presentations to diverse audiences.
Strong customer service mindset to support internal and external partners.
THE PACKAGE
The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $160,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
