About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support the administration and oversight of qualified retirement plans. In this role, you'll perform annual compliance testing, assist with plan design, and help ensure our plans operate in full compliance with IRS and DOL regulations — playing a critical part in protecting both our clients and their employees' retirement futures.
What You'll Do
- Perform annual compliance testing including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), and other nondiscrimination tests
- Calculate employer contributions including Profit Sharing, Safe Harbor, and New Comparability allocations
- Assist with plan document amendments and provide guidance on EPCRS correction procedures
- Prepare Form 5500 / 5500-SF filings and annual trust accounting
- Support operational compliance across loans, distributions, terminations, and plan deconversions
- Respond to compliance-related questions from internal teams and clients, interpreting plan provisions and testing results
- Identify and help resolve operational compliance issues with a solutions-oriented approach
- Collaborate with Compliance leadership to maintain and update SOPs and best practices
- 5+ years of experience in the retirement services industry
- Bachelors in related field or equivalent experience
- 2–3 years performing retirement plan compliance testing (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, coverage)
- Experience with employer contribution calculations including Profit Sharing and Safe Harbor
- Working knowledge of EPCRS correction procedures and IRS/ERISA qualification rules
- Strong Excel skills including XLOOKUP and intermediate functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and deadline-driven — you thrive during high-volume compliance cycles
- Experience with New Comparability plan design
- Familiarity with retirement plan administration systems such as ASC or FT Williams
- Exposure to 3(16) fiduciary or operational fiduciary oversight
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
- ASPPA credentials (QKA or QKC) or progress toward certification
