Job Description
The Senior Consultant, Change Management is to deliver enterprise change management on large-scale, complex technology implementations.
This role is for a practitioner who can blend analytical rigor (diagnostics, stakeholder and impact analysis, adoption measurement, benefits/KPI realization) with modern digital fluency (tech-enabled operating change, digital workplace adoption patterns, data-driven change insights) and high emotional intelligence (empathy, trust-building, influence without authority). You will partner with executive sponsors, functional leaders, program teams, and frontline stakeholders to drive/measure adoption and sustained behavior change—ensuring technology investments translate into measuable business outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Change Management Delivery
- Lead change management workstreams and internal/external change team members (as necessary) on complex enterprise implementations, aligning change strategy to program objectives and deployment timelines.
- Develop integrated change plans that translate transformation vision into actionable adoption outcomes (readiness, engagement, training, communications, reinforcement).
- Identify adoption risks early and implement mitigation strategies without losing momentum when conditions shift.
- Change Strategy, Diagnostics & Structured Problem Solving
- Conduct change diagnostics including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and change risk analyses.
- Break down complex transformation challenges into manageable components and create data-informed workplans.
- Define adoption success metrics and measurement approaches (usage, proficiency, sentiment, readiness, process adherence).
- Stakeholder Leadership & Influence Without Authority
- Build deep trust with sponsors and stakeholders to secure buy-in and navigate organizational politics effectively.
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations with clarity; proactively manage emotional dynamics and resistance patterns with empathy and credibility.
- Coach leaders and change champions to show up consistently as visible sponsors and effective change agents.
- Facilitation & Alignment
- Bring the right people into the room at the right time—ensuring clarity of roles, decisions, and ownership across stakeholders.
- Design and facilitate high-impact change workshops, capturing outcomes, decisions, and accountability, converting workshops into forward motion.
- Communications, Enablement & Adoption Acceleration
- Create strategic communications plans and executive-ready messaging that clarifies the “why,” “what,” and “what changes for me.”
- Partner with training/enablement teams to design role-based learning journeys and reinforcement strategies that drive proficiency and reinforce the “why,” “what,” and “what changes for me.”.
- Develop toolkits, playbooks, and change network assets that scale change across functions and geographies.
- Strategic Agility in Dynamic Environments
- Rapidly pivot strategies in response to disruption (market shifts, org changes, tech constraints, competitive threats) without losing momentum or stakeholder confidence.
- Make ambiguity manageable—setting direction with imperfect information while driving clarity through iterative learning.
- Client Communication, Analytical Storytelling & Executive Advisory -
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client leaders;
- Translate complex change data (readiness findings, risk signals, adoption analytics) into clear, outcome-oriented executive insights and recommendations.
- Build persuasive narratives and visual presentations that support high-stakes decision-making and sponsor action.
- Quantify the value of change activities where applicable (e.g., adoption ROI, productivity impacts, time-to-value acceleration).
- Adaptability & Learning Agility
- Quickly master new client industries, business models, operating environments, and organizational contexts to deliver value early in engagements.
- Adapt change strategy in response to disruption (program shifts, organizational changes, adoption barriers) while maintaining stakeholder confidence and delivery quality.
- Internal Collaboration & Team Contribution
- Mentor junior consultants via structured guidance, feedback, and quality review.
- Contribute to internal knowledge assets, templates, and reusable components.
Within 6 months, you are consistently delivering:

- Improved readiness/reduced resistance through proactive engagement and coaching
- Training + communications that demonstrably move adoption metrics
- Executive-level insights that guide course correction and protect time-to-value
- Change Management Consulting Expertise: Proven delivery experience leading change workstreams in complex programs with multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities; experience with and application of formal change methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, ACMP’s Standard for Change Management, Lewin)
- Leadership and Integrity: Strategic thinker with authenticity and integrity; proven success influencing teams and senior stakeholders; demonstrated success supporting the growth of high performing teams; proven ability supporting/modeling a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, professional development and collaboration
- Delivery Excellence: Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional transformations and operating model shifts; digital fluency and understanding of adoption in tech-enabled transformations; reliable execution
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills; demonstrated experience advising and driving high-stakes decision-making and leading workshops; and strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complexity into concise, persuasive narratives
- Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving: Elite analytical ability and structured problem solving with an ability to synthesize complex information, connect insights across systems, and translate findings into clear, actionable strategies
- Collaborative Leadership: Skilled at leading cross-functional teams through influence and fostering collaboration across silos and disciplines
- Operational Agility: Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environments, managing multiple priorities and competing/shifting demands with resilience

- Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
Tenure & Background:
- 7-10 years of experience in enterprise change management, transformation consulting, or internal change leadership roles, with significant exposure to technology-enabled transformation.
- 3+ years of experience in digitally enabled transformation, tech strategy, or change management advisory work adjacent to enterprise platforms and operating model modernization
- Industry acumen in one or more of the following: Healthcare and Life Sciences; Manufacturing; High-Tech & SaaS; Public Sector; Non-profit & Education; Financial Services; and Communications & Media
- Experience with adoption analytics tools, digital adoption platforms, or usage telemetry to measure change outcomes
- Financial acumen to quantify impact where relevant (benefits realization, time-to-value, productivity impacts)
- Demonstrated success driving measurable outcomes across transformation, cultural change, or operating model redesign
- Undergraduate degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Professional certifications in change management highly desirable
