Job Description
- Execute at-track deliverables for partner including but not limited to contract fulfillment, signage, reporting and contingency program support
- Lead for on-site signage (sponsor, series, etc.) including physical installation and teardown of signage at each event; must be able to use good judgement in making decisions to develop a holistic vision for placement and visibility of signage
- Execute race elements such as Victory Lane and Re-draw; ensure all sponsor obligations are fulfilled; communicate with announcers, towers, public relations and Fan Experience as necessary
- Consistently monitor, evaluate and improve the existing process(es) of at-track deliverable fulfillment; develop, plan and execute alternative methods
- Document each event through photos (uploading into online system) and complete event checklists/recaps
- Maintain facility-specific guides including detailed plans for deliverable fulfillment
- Provide support for any sponsor-related giveaways or promotions
- Manage inventory of banner and sponsor decals
- Other duties as assigned (both office and on-site)
- 1+ years related experience preferably in a hands-on capacity
- Background in racing, event management or sports marketing a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills required
- Valid driver's license required
- Entrepreneurial spirit needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to communicate with a variety of people
- Able to handle a variety of priorities simultaneously
- Must be able to enter and exit Canada
- This role is part time (see race schedule below)
- Travel is required for this role. During racing season, overnight travel may be 50-75% average per month; this position follows the Super DIRTcar Series race schedule
- This role travels throughout the US and Canada and will be responsible for procuring and maintaining credentials for such travel
- Physical Demands: This position requires frequent walking and standing with occasional sitting, climbing, bending, stretching, kneeling and crawling will occur daily; the use of hands to grasp and feel frequently; the occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds and may require use of close vision. This position is primary outdoors and will experience exposure to the elements
- Safety Concerns: When at an event, the safety concerns include exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes and other irritants as well as exposure to outdoor elements, potential exposure to mechanical equipment and vehicles moving at varied rates of speed. This position is expected to practice preventative safety measures at all times.
