Full-Time | Remote Position
Interwoven Family Wealth, a Private Wealth Advisory Practice of Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Licensed Paraplanner to join a growing, client-focused team. This role supports financial planning operations, client service delivery, and advisor workflow management while providing meaningful long-term career development opportunities within the practice.
This position will play a key role in supporting financial planning implementation, client communication, and operational efficiency while contributing to an exceptional client experience.
Position Overview
The Licensed Paraplanner will support financial planning and client service functions by preparing meeting materials, managing workflow items, supporting trade and operations processes, and assisting with client communications.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative professional with experience in wealth management operations and a strong interest in supporting comprehensive financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Client Support
- Prepare and organize client meeting materials
- Enter and maintain client data within financial planning and CRM systems
- Support financial plan updates and scenario modeling as client information changes
- Assist with client onboarding and planning workflow coordination
- Support preparation of planning presentations and client recommendation materials
Operations & Administrative Support
- Support trade processing and operational workflow management
- Assist with work items currently assigned to team members as needed
- Track and support financial planning operational processes
- Coordinate client communications via phone and digital channels
Client Experience & Practice Support
- Provide high-quality service support to clients and advisors
- Maintain accurate CRM and client records
- Assist with special projects and practice initiatives
- Support advisor marketing, scheduling, and meeting preparation needs
Qualifications
- Active securities licenses preferred (Series 7, Series 66, Life & Health)
- 3–5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or client service roles preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Collaborative team-oriented mindset
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Experience with Ameriprise systems strongly preferred
- Experience in paraplanning, financial planning, or advisory operations
- Interest in long-term career growth toward Associate Financial Advisor roles (3–5 year pathway)
- Experience supporting high-touch client service environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting compensation: $70,000
- Non-exempt
- Bonus and profit-sharing opportunities available
- Health Insurance – Kaiser Gold Plan HMO (80% employee / 50% family coverage)
- 401(k) with 3% employer contribution after one year
