Many of the investors are members of the Ceres Investor Network, including state treasurers, pension funds, foundations, socially responsible asset managers, and faith-based institutional investors. At Ceres, the ISWG team, and shareholder engagement work in general, is done through close partnership with Ceres Program teams.

- Support the monthly ISWG meetings by preparing the agenda in coordination with Director, collecting materials (both internal and from investors) and following up with action items, and meeting notes.
- Track Ceres supported shareholder proposals in the Investor Portal and prepare reports using data from Salesforce as requested.
- Help with bi-annually reporting to the Organizational Strategy, Planning, and Results team, with input from the Director and Investor Network team members, concerning progress toward goals.
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues within the Investor Network and across Ceres Program teams to support synergies to advance Investor Network and other Ceres’ priorities.
- Support internal team meetings by preparing meeting agendas, taking and synthesize meeting minutes, and creating clear and compelling presentations for internal and external meetings.
- Support progress reports and presentations for Investor Network, funders, public investor presentations and the Ceres Board.
- Maintain and regularly update all datasets and Salesforce tracking systems for existing and new network members.
- Assist in the Investor Network’s annual planning process by communicating with team members the expectations involving investors that the other teams are building into their annual plans.
- Help organize or coordinate special projects, as requested.
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.
- Minimum of two (2) years full-time related work experience required.
- Experience in the financial services or asset management industry and an understanding of capital markets, different asset classes, and investor stewardship highly preferred.
- Experience working with and analyzing large data sets.
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with word-processing, presentation, database, and email computer applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, sensitivity to diverse constituencies, and strong initiative and motivation.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Successful record of working on multiple projects and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest and willingness to be trained in specific applications necessary for work: (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomberg Terminal).
- Interest in being part of a diverse workforce and willingness to support Ceres’ Commitment to Inclusion and Equity.
- Desire to work in a mission-driven and nonprofit environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
The hiring salary is $50,600 – $60,150 with competitive benefits (Pay Grade 12).
