Role Description
As the Senior Benefits and Leave Program Manager – AMER, you will be an essential partner within our Rewards team, driving the strategic execution and oversight of benefits and leave programs across the Americas. This is a role for a seasoned expert who thrives on balancing operational discipline with strategic thinking.
You will serve as the primary subject-matter expert for complex escalations and the lead architect for process improvements. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you will bridge the gap between regional strategy and world-class employee experience, ensuring our programs remain competitive, compliant, and seamlessly executed.
What you'll be doing
- Complex Program Ownership: Lead large-scale benefits projects, including annual renewals and plan marketing, while influencing the long-term regional benefits strategy.
- Strategic Leave Management: Oversee complex leave projects and statutory compliance, designing comprehensive playbooks and documentation to standardize administration.
- Proactive Solution Design: Independently identify gaps in current offerings or internal workflows and propose data-driven solutions to the Senior Benefits Manager.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the project lead for cross-functional initiatives involving Payroll, Legal, and Finance to ensure total alignment on global standards.
- Vendor Management: Own primary relationships with external vendors and brokers, driving high-level service delivery and resolving systemic performance issues.
- Operational Excellence: Establish and lead advanced auditing processes and financial analyses to ensure absolute data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Extensive Benefits Expertise: 7+ years of deep experience in benefits administration and leave management within a fast-paced environment.
- Regional Compliance Knowledge: Strong, up-to-date knowledge of U.S. and Canadian benefits regulations, including statutory leave requirements.
- Project Leadership: Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of delivering multiple complex processes and priorities simultaneously.
- Strategic Collaboration: Experience partnering with Payroll and Legal teams to implement programs that meet both compliance and business needs.
- Data Proficiency: Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel for complex data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
- Communication & Mentorship: Strong ability to provide clear guidance to employees and stakeholders while serving as a professional mentor to peers.

- Professional Certification: CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) or an equivalent professional credential.
- HRIS Mastery: Hands-on experience with Workday or similar enterprise-grade benefits administration platforms.
- Industry Insight: A keen interest in emerging trends regarding employee wellbeing, engagement, and regional leave innovations.
