Job Description
• Craft and execute a world class sales strategy to smash targets within the U.S. Federal government and critical infrastructure sectors.
• Seek out high-potential prospects and manage the full sales cycle from lead gen to deal closure.
• Build and nurture rock-solid relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough client needs assessments and deliver tailored SaaS solutions through compelling demos and presentations.
• Team up with marketing, product, and customer success to align sales efforts with campaigns, market demands, and customer satisfaction.
• Keep your CRM alive, track pipeline activities, and provide regular forecasts and performance reports.
• Stay sharp by keeping up with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Participate in training programs to enhance your sales and product knowledge.
• Stay ahead of the curve with a deep understanding of market trends, challenges, and opportunities in the Federal government space.
Job Requirements
- B2B Sales Experience: Federal sales, enterprise, Department of Defence and business development.
- Proven Sales Performance: A track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets, especially with SaaS solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the federal government framework, operations, and contracting.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: The ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Negotiation & Sales Approach: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a consultative sales approach.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM software and sales tools like Salesforce and MEDDPICC.
