Role Description
As a Manager, Supply Chain Resiliency (SCR), you will create and complete the Supply Chain Resiliency Program by using supply chain design, category, and component risk framework. You will lead the development of Supply Chain Resiliency strategy, identifying process and information gaps, and leading a team in creating solutions that integrate geo-political, cyber, and natural disaster risk into the Supply Chain Resiliency standard work. Additionally, you will establish an operational schedule, define metrics and targets, and ensure the enterprise achieves reductions in risk exposure, providing regular updates to both executive and team leadership on results tracking. You will report to the Director, Global Category Management - Direct. This is a 100% Remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3 to 6 people responsible for managing risk across OPx team.
- Lead the development of an overall plan and timeline to mitigate supply chain risk, encompassing geo-political and geographical considerations.
- Collaborate with Account Management, SPE, PPM, Category Management, Operations, Materials, and Engineering teams to brainstorm solutions that mitigate supply chain risk exposure, including design and source change projects.
- Responsible for comprehensive planning, including resource planning, to ensure execution aligns with leadership expectations.
- Lead the team in defining and developing standard work to address identified risk exposure and improve project execution efficiency.
- Accountable for the team's execution of solutions to mitigate risks, including supplier manufacturing location transfers, source change projects, and design change projects.
- Oversee Project Management, working with BU Procurement teams to align with Functional, SBU, and Enterprise team members, prioritize projects, and secure resources to mitigate highest risk exposure.
- Ensure organizational adherence to standard work, including project tracking, documentation, and reporting; address roadblocks and escalate issues.
- Help deliver program status reviews to Executive Senior leadership, communicating project status, reduced risks, remaining actions, and required support or barriers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- MBA or Master's degree in any engineering field preferred
- 4 years of experience in procurement
- 1 year of project management experience
- 1 year of category, operations, quality, or material management experience
