Role Description

Shermco Industries, Inc. Sales and Marketing team is seeking an entrepreneurial, results oriented Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to help shape our growing business. The Inside Sales Representative will report into the Sales Operations & Marketing division of Shermco. The position is mostly remote with 20% travel. It is preferred the ISR is located within the regional footprint desired.

  • Design, execute and analyze qualitative and quantitative data about customers, competitors, industry.
  • Research and analyze regional and branch target accounts for updates to projects, contacts, and plants/facilities.
  • Generate leads for Territory Account Managers within the region through drip marketing campaigns and project leads.
  • Leverage data to identify key customer insights.
  • Provide ongoing analysis, trends and ad hoc analysis for regional sales team.
  • Prepare written reports and presentations to management to ensure clear understanding of information and implications.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional team meetings, sales meetings and any other functions which would foster greater team challenges and goals.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact to customers.
  • Communicate and present critical data, report summaries, market analysis and strategic recommendations to all levels of management.

  • Experience in market research, financial planning and analysis, engineering or sales.
  • Financial analysis skills.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • High business acumen.
  • Ability to interface with business development and senior management.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience in a finance, engineering, sales, marketing intelligence or strategy role.
  • Proven track record in analysis and insight.
  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, analytics, business or other related fields preferred.
  • Professional writing experience desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  • All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening.

Benefits

  • Pay Range: USD $48,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
