Role Description

We're looking for a Staff Product Manager at ApartmentIQ — a senior individual contributor (IC) role focused on developing strategic product vision while executing hands-on discovery and delivery.

• Identify market opportunities and define product roadmaps.
• Work closely with engineering, design, analytics, and data science teams to bring solutions to market.
• Engage deeply with multifamily operators to uncover needs and validate ideas.
• Balance big-picture strategic planning with tactical execution.
• Conduct customer interviews, analyze product metrics, define requirements, and prioritize features.
• Guide development cycles to ensure we're building products that solve real problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product development process from discovery to launch.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to generate business insights.
• Partner closely with engineering and design teams to rapidly develop best-in-class products.
• Define key product metrics and performance indicators to measure product success.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions.
• Engage deeply with customers to understand buyer and user needs and diagnose pain points.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales on field enablement and go-to-market activities.
• Work with stakeholders to develop and optimize product execution processes.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in product management in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup.
• Demonstrated experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and delivery with measurable business impact.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience with user research, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Analytical and data-driven approach to identifying and prioritizing problems and solutions.
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing startup environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with project management experience.
