- Conduct sales presentations and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs in freight management and logistics services.
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding, account growth, and effective delivery of services.
- Monitor performance metrics, customer scorecards, and pipeline reports to maintain sales effectiveness and drive operational improvements.
- Support bid and rate validation processes, and assist in resolving billing or service issues as needed.
- Participate in strategic sales planning, provide insights to leadership, and recommend solutions to maximize business opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in transportation, freight brokerage, or logistics sales, with a strong track record in building and managing sales pipelines.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities centered on value rather than price.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, industry trends, and customer market segments.
- Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM/agency management tools.
- High energy, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, high-call environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver executive-level presentations.
