This role is a high-impact, strategic position responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with leading insurance partners. You will oversee a portfolio of top-tier carriers, drive new partnership opportunities, and champion programs that leverage technology to reduce risk and improve operational outcomes. Working closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams, you will design and implement partner initiatives, manage operational processes, and translate partner needs into actionable internal strategies. This position requires a results-oriented, relationship-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has deep knowledge of insurance, telematics, and safety technologies. Your contributions will directly influence business growth and the success of key strategic partnerships.
- Develop and secure new partnerships with top commercial insurance carriers, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contracting.
- Own and grow a portfolio of existing insurance partners, driving mutual value through program development, product roadmap influence, and marketing initiatives.
- Define and oversee operational processes, including partner onboarding, API integration, billing, and recurring process improvements.
- Serve as the central point of contact for partners, coordinating across internal teams to deliver exceptional service and program execution.
- Represent the partnership externally in high-impact meetings and internally to align cross-functional teams on partner objectives.
- Translate partner business challenges into actionable feedback for product, legal, and engineering teams to enhance offerings and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, partner management, or a similar role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proven track record managing complex, enterprise-level relationships and launching new products or partnerships.
- Strong project management skills with ownership of multi-functional initiatives; experience in product management is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, able to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
- Deep understanding of insurance, telematics, or driver safety technologies.
- Comfortable operating independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
