Job Description

• Develop, align, and communicate a unified interoperability strategy across Aetna business lines • Synthesize and maintain a comprehensive view of interoperability and platform roadmaps • Convene and align product owners, business leaders, and stakeholders • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive adoption and execution of interoperability strategies • Advise on technology, policy, and business intersections • Lead creation of executive-level strategy materials • Represent and communicate interoperability strategy to the enterprise and market • Guide long-term planning and balance tactical needs with future vision • Evaluate and recommend technologies and vendors • Provide strategic recommendations for resource allocation • Support governance processes • Champion storytelling of interoperability • Facilitate productive conversations and drive consensus • Identify gaps and advocate for investment in new areas • Foster innovation and collaboration to support culture change • Ensure solutions are designed for scalability, flexibility, and compliance

Job Requirements

  • 8–10 years’ experience in U.S. healthcare technology
  • Deep exposure to interoperability standards
  • Experience with vendor landscape and product/program management
  • Strong understanding of policy, regulatory, and technology intersections in healthcare
  • Direct experience with standards development organizations
  • Proven ability to separate tactics from long-term strategy
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of provider and payer workflows
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Expertise in software development lifecycle
  • Ability to describe the 'art of the possible'
