Job Description

• Identifies compliance risks and engages appropriate stakeholders around risk awareness and mitigation in area(s) of focus. • Provides support to ensure actions/outcomes are aligned across all levels of the organization. • Collaborates with internal stakeholders, as well as external resources, to ensure all compliance related matters are appropriately understood and enforced. • Participates in strategic initiative discussions as a compliance subject matter expert; provides guidance and input on new and existing state and federal laws and regulations that may impact strategy. • Oversees the activities that influence the compliance and/or risk programs for area(s) of focus and ensures team alignment with company goals, processes, and values. • Coaches and develops team talent and capabilities, responsible for development of necessary performance plans. • Ensures company-wide regulatory training and education activities are effective and meet regulatory expectations in area(s) of focus. • May represent the organization to regulators and other entities in government compliance matters. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 8 years work experience in legal, compliance, insurance or related relevant work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
