You’ll own a portfolio of culinary/savory accounts—expanding existing relationships, prospecting new ones, and converting briefs into commercial wins. Leading a focused core team across Commercial Support, Technical, Sensory, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Procurement, you’ll steer pipeline, pricing strategy, and accurate forecasting to deliver profitable, sustainable growth. As an Account Manager - Culinary & Snacks, you will be responsible for managing a territory comprised of national and regional food and culinary/savory accounts. In addition to fostering established relationships and managing existing sales, you will identify new opportunities, grow sales, and expand your network. You will work in close cooperation with cross-functional team members, including Operations, Innovation Creation and Design, Finance, Procurement, Sensory, and Marketing departments within IFF. To excel in this role, you should enjoy an entrepreneurial approach to your work and thrive on developing new opportunities. Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Grow profitable revenue by opening new opportunities across national and regional private label customers.
- Lead account planning and execution, aligning stakeholders across Technical, Commercial Support, Marketing, Sensory, and Operations.
- Build robust, “first‑time‑right” opportunity pipelines and ensure accurate, timely project entry and status updates.
- Manage pricing strategies and negotiations to achieve volume, mix, and gross profit targets.
- Provide reliable rolling forecasts; translate market signals into actions for demand, supply, and innovation roadmaps.
- Orchestrate high‑impact customer engagements—presentations, workshops, capability demos, and on‑site visits.
- Drive execution quality through weekly cross‑functional cadence, removing roadblocks and maintaining project timelines.
- Optimize order patterns and portfolio health to enhance customer experience and IFF profitability.
- Serve as the accountable point of contact, ensuring clear, proactive communication between customer and IFF functions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business (Sales/Marketing), or related field
- 5+ years of quota‑carrying sales experience with a track record of organic account growth in the flavors industry.
- 3+ years in private label flavors or adjacent ingredients with strong customer credibility.
- Confident engaging internal and external stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial, self‑directed, and resilient—comfortable owning outcomes in fast‑moving environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel/PowerPoint/Teams) and CRM/forecasting tools.
- Valid driver’s license; willing to travel ~50% as business requires.

Compensation ($130,000.00 - $163,020.00 base) is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
