Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities across multiple service areas through direct action and initiative.
- Serves as the primary new business sales contact for Wipfli’s Healthcare (HC) Practice, with a focus on senior living and/or for-profit healthcare.
- Innovates and applies creative strategies to develop leads by leveraging social media, external referral sources, associations, and networking groups.
- Creates awareness and builds relationships with key accounts, practice leaders, and Relationship Executives within Wipfli’s HC Practice.
- Represents the technology stack and other strategic offerings within the HC Practice.
- Manages multiple, complex pursuits and coordinates collective sales efforts with subject matter experts and consultants throughout the entire sales lifecycle.
- Participates in trade shows and regional industry events to expand market presence.
- Supports direct marketing, sales, and lead generation campaigns by following up on qualified leads to nurture and convert them into opportunities.
- Crafts and executes strategic and tactical plans to close sales opportunities effectively.
- Manages the full sales lifecycle, including lead generation, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Influences decision-makers at the highest levels within client organizations to drive business outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or other job related major, or an equivalent level of job-related experience.
- Successful candidates will have recent, direct experience with senior living and/or for-profit healthcare organizations
- 5+ years of successful outside, hunter-type business development experience using a consultative and solution-oriented sales approach with a proven ability to uncover strategic business issues; minimum 3 years in a professional services environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP’s and EMR’s in the HC industry
- Able to leverage enterprise level CRM systems for effective pipeline management and performance tracking.
- Demonstrated success in developing new client relationships.
- Generalized Healthcare (HC)Industry experience is a plus.
- 2+ years of selling Sage Intacct and/or NetSuite is a plus

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $95,000 to $161,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for a commission plan, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
