Job Description
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Business Management, Accounting or equivalent education or experience.
- 10 + years of experience with progressive management roles or equivalent experience ideally on a corporate or government security team.
- Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
- CPP, PSP, CISSP, PMP or similar certification
- Strong understanding of crisis operations, risk management, and crisis communication best practices.
- Substantive experience in physical security and technology.
- Experience in providing security oversight in a corporate office setting.
- Experienced in corporate security for a global company.
- Experience writing and publishing security standards and policies.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time with little to no notice.
- Skilled in developing Executive level metrics and standard reporting.
- Experience in conducting basic investigations / fact finding.
- Ability to design, develop, and deliver security awareness training programs.
- Understanding of business continuity and incident command system.
- Experience with the collection and analysis of threat intelligence.
- Working knowledge of legal contracts, budgeting, and key terms.
- Skilled in working with law enforcement agencies.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST) and their application.
- Flexible and collaborative; highly capable of developing consensus among cross-functional teams on key risks as well as influencing the decision-making process.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and design appropriate security solutions.
