Job Description

Responsibilities

Join a dynamic team at Related Affordable Management (“RAM”), a nationwide leader in managing a diverse portfolio of multifamily housing developments. The Operation Technology Implementation Manager will lead the deployment and optimization of Property Management System solutions across our property management portfolio. This role ensures that all re-syndications and new acquisitions are meticulously tracked and processed, collaborating closely with Asset Management to maintain seamless operations.

 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for driving system excellence and fostering team development.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee and track all orders for operational system products from initiation to authorization, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist in rolling out projects across the RA portfolio, including developing communication strategies, crafting implementation plans, and conducting post-implementation utilization analyses.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of all operational and financial systems within established timelines, maintaining alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Review regulatory documents to confirm that the property management systems is configured correctly, ensuring adherence to program compliance requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Maintain effective communication between RA and the property management system teams, ensuring all active implementations are planned and executed for timely adoption of necessary solution stacks.

 

Anticipated salary range:

  • $103,000 – $115,000 USD per year
  • Annual Performance Bonus
  • This position is Exempt, meaning ineligible for overtime pay

This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. 

 

Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with property management systems, including implementation, system optimization, and compliance configuration.
  • Proven experience in implementing property management systems solutions or similar property management systems.
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory compliance in affordable housing (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8) to ensure software meets legal and operational requirements.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of managing complex system implementations.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team development and mentorship.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Dedicated to exceeding expectations, leading by example, and by providing exceptional service.
  • Willingness to embrace feedback and continuously improve.
