Job Summary
The Account Director serves as the primary relationship lead for nonprofit clients and is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of fundraising and marketing campaigns. This role ensures client strategies are executed effectively while maintaining strong partnerships with nonprofit organizations.
The Account Director collaborates closely with fundraising strategy, analytics, creative, and production teams to ensure campaigns align with client goals and deliver measurable results. This position plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring the agency consistently delivers high-quality service.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to account management or client services staff.
- Support cross-functional teams in delivering campaigns that meet client expectations.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring client services team members.
- Participate in hiring and performance management processes as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for nonprofit client relationships.
- Oversee the development and execution of fundraising and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with client strategy and objectives.
- Lead client meetings and provide strategic guidance on fundraising initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and work with analytics teams to optimize results.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen client partnerships.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with agency standards.
- Support proposal development and client presentations when needed.

- Experience working in a marketing agency or consulting environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- This is primarily a remote position requiring the ability to work from a home office or remote location with reliable internet and phone service.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to participate in virtual meetings, requiring clear communication and active listening.
- Occasional travel for team meetings, client engagements, or company events may be required depending on the role.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a digital environment requiring prioritization and time management.
Work Location & Travel
This role is remote-friendly. Candidates located near one of our office hubs may be asked to work on a hybrid schedule. Employees outside of these areas may occasionally travel for team meetings, training sessions, or company events.
