Job Summary
The Production Director is responsible for overseeing the execution and delivery of fundraising and marketing campaigns for nonprofit clients. This role ensures that campaigns are produced efficiently, on schedule, and in alignment with client strategy and agency standards. The Production Director manages the production workflow across teams, coordinates with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensures the successful implementation of campaign deliverables.
This position plays a critical leadership role in maintaining operational excellence within the agency, supporting collaboration between strategy, analytics, and campaign execution teams to ensure high-quality outcomes for nonprofit clients.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to production, project management, and campaign operations staff.
- Support team development through coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
- Assist in establishing production processes and best practices across the agency.
- Coordinate workload and resource allocation across production teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the production and execution of multi-channel fundraising and marketing campaigns for nonprofit clients.
- Manage campaign production timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate across internal teams including strategy, analytics, media, and client services to ensure alignment on campaign execution.
- Serve as a key operational leader responsible for maintaining efficient production workflows.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and production partners.
- Ensure quality control across campaign deliverables including direct mail, digital marketing, and integrated campaigns.
- Monitor production capacity and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Support client-facing teams by providing production expertise during campaign planning and implementation.
- Develop and maintain production processes, documentation, and operational standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Experience managing production teams and coordinating cross-functional workflows.
- Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising campaigns, donor engagement strategies, or direct response marketing is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- This is primarily a remote position requiring the ability to work from a home office or remote location with reliable internet and phone service.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to participate in virtual meetings, requiring clear communication and active listening.
- Occasional travel for team meetings, client engagements, or company events may be required depending on the role.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a digital environment requiring prioritization and time management.
Work Location & Travel
This role is remote-friendly. Candidates located near one of our office hubs may be asked to work on a hybrid schedule. Employees outside of these areas may occasionally travel for team meetings, training sessions, or company events.
