Role Description
As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:
- Development and maintenance of firewall migration automation software
- Analysis and troubleshooting of issues coming from the software users
- Active contribution to the AI-powered software development process
- Cooperation with the Delivery Team and the Customer on developing and improving automation tools
Qualifications
- Proof of 2+ years of professional, hands-on operational experience in the field of networks or network security
- Good understanding of basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, network layers and commonly used protocols
- Good understanding of the principles and features of modern firewalls
- Hands-on experience with Git
- Practical experience building automation with Python
- Fluency in English (B2 level minimum)
- Willingness to learn – you will face challenges that require creativity, individual solutions and teamwork with senior peers
Requirements
- Knowledge of network security products from vendors like Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, ZScaler, Juniper
- Experience with Claude Code
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of trends and practices in cybersecurity
- Experience working directly with external clients
