Relationship ManagerWhat does a successful Sales Executive do at Fiserv?
In your role as a Sales Executive at Fiserv, you will focus on building strategic partnerships with Enterprise clients to secure new business for Fiserv's wide range of products and solutions in relation to Merchant Acquiring. Success in this position requires a proven background in identifying and engaging new accounts, driving complex solution sales, and promoting revenue growth, while also understanding the client's business, goals, and strategies.
What you will do:
- Orchestrate sales campaigns of Omnichannel Digital Product Solutions, establishing and maintaining senior-level relationships in the merchant payment processing space.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, articulating the Fiserv value proposition while managing multiple opportunities through various sales stages.
- Develop and execute a vertical plan, continuously evaluating and revising it to maximize business opportunities.
- Create comprehensive client proposals, including solutions, financial justifications, growth plans, project timelines, and expected results to secure business with maximum revenue and margin.
- Build detailed account plans for aspirational clients and new cross-sales opportunities, negotiating pricing, contract terms, and collaborating closely with sales and relationship management.
- Work within virtual team settings, coordinating resources like account managers, solution consultants, and implementation/service teams to meet client needs.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of Merchant Acquiring Sales experience handling payment processing solutions in a quota carrying environment.
- 8+ years of successful new business generation and solution selling experience, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, challenges, trends, and operations in the merchant payment processing space.
- 8+ years of experience navigating complex, matrix organizations and leading cross-functional initiatives, with a client-focused approach and proven success in enhancing the client experience.
- 8+ years of experience in influence and negotiation skills, accompanied by a solid understanding of industry processes and compliance regulations.
- Availability to travel domestically up to 60%.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Proven track record in technology software or services sales to large accounts, with a fundamental understanding of solution selling.
- Familiarity with Fiserv and former First Data product offerings, and the ability to execute the Fiserv Way of Selling, including our Expert Selling Force Management framework.
- MBA preferred.
Salary Range
$82,700.00 - $175,900.00These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
