ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under guidance of AVP, Tenant Coordination, direct the remodel and interior construction of assigned stores in accordance with approved budgets and lease obligations.

  • Provide support to Leasing in the timely processing and resolution of tenant space planning issues, design packages, landlord work recommendations and approval of tenant scope of work.

  • Maintain consistent and thorough communication with tenants, property management and leasing team to ensure that all parties are properly informed of scheduled turn-over dates, relevant scope of work and budget status.

  • Under guidance of AVP, Tenant Coordination, select qualified construction and design vendors through a competitive bidding process.

  • Manage the preparation of construction drawings and securing of all permits related to landlord work.

  • Prepare budgets in accordance with approved scope of work for interior build-outs.

  • Manage the landlord drawing review and approval process with respect to tenant plans.

  • Contribute to department goals of early store opening dollar revenue, landlord work expenditure, plan review durations, and other goals as determined by management.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the field of retail construction, property management or tenant coordination

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture and/or engineering

TRAVEL:

  • This position requires up to 15% travel.  Must be able to travel via commercial airlines.  Must maintain a valid driver’s license and can operate own vehicle or rental car in a safe manner.

HIRING RANGE DISCLIAMER: 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees. 

Hiring Range: $100,000- $140,000 per year
