If you’re proactive, eager to learn and ready to make a real impact, join us in shaping the future as part of this incredible worldwide operating team.

What You’ll Do:
Solution Architects at SailPoint embark on their journey by undergoing comprehensive product training. This initial phase allows them to harness their existing experience, paving the way for a profound understanding of our SaaS solutions. Within a month or two, you begin serving as the technical leads on customer projects where you will employ your client and partner communication skills, as well as your industry knowledge, to share organizational best practices for SailPoint products and identity governance.

After the first six months, Solution Architects will be established as both technical and consultative experts within the SailPoint Services organization, and by the end of your first year you will have become a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and to less experienced team members. As part of your role as a technical advisor, you will also have a chance to use your development skills/background to work on custom efforts on a regular or as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering customers' business use cases and documenting product-based requirements with recommended solution designs

  • Educating customers and partners on high-level product architecture, functional design, and best practices

  • Assisting in the scoping, analysis, and documentation of implementation projects

  • Developing and delivering technical training designed to enable/educate SailPoint implementation partners

  • Helping implementation team members design creative solutions to complex problems.

  • Assisting with the actual technical delivery of the solution via written code or complex configuration

  • Use your development background to write custom work or review others code.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or consulting firm; 3+ years of software implementation experience

  • US Citizenship is required for this position due to FedRAMP support responsibilities.

  • Experience with the following programming languages: Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL.

  • Experience with the following web technologies: XML, SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML.

  • Experience with Databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL).

  • Experience with Directories (LDAP, AD).

  • Experience in software development, implementation, and configuration

  • Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working directly with clients and partners

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with identity management provisioning systems (Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell) a plus.

  • Familiarity with RBAC a plus.

  • Security software or internal IT audit experience a plus.

  • Experience in a startup company is a plus.

Education:

  • Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent experience

  • J2EE certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus

  • SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect is a plus
