The Debt Negotiation Professional helps customers understand options for resolving unsecured debt and navigating creditor negotiations.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct 30-minute financial consultations
- Review unsecured debt situations (credit cards, medical bills, personal loans)
- Educate customers on settlement strategies and negotiation approaches
- Explain consumer protection laws related to debt collection
- Discuss repayment planning and strategies to rebuild credit
Qualifications
- Debt settlement negotiator, financial counselor, or credit specialist
- Experience working with unsecured debt negotiation
- Familiarity with consumer protection statutes such as FDCPA
