• Collaborate with scientists and technical teams to identify patentable inventions, conduct invention harvesting sessions, and guide the development of strategic patent filings. • Oversee outside counsel supporting the lifecycle of Veracyte’s patent portfolio. • Support FTO analyses for new products and technologies. Advise internal stakeholders on IP risks and mitigation strategies. • Draft, review, and negotiate research collaboration agreements, license agreements, and technology transfer arrangements. • Partner closely with R&D and BD to ensure IP strategy supports innovation and compliance. Provide training and guidance on IP matters to internal teams. • Contribute to the build-out of Veracyte’s patent program. • Provide support on commercial contracts and initiatives as needed.
