Role Description
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for fellowship-trained cardiologists with strong expertise in ECG interpretation, diagnostic reasoning, and complex cardiovascular case evaluation. This role supports collaborations with one of the world's leading AI research laboratories focused on improving advanced AI systems through high-quality clinical reasoning, gold-standard ECG interpretation, and evaluation of real-world cardiology cases. Selected professionals will help develop expert-level ECG interpretations, assess nuanced and complex cardiovascular cases, identify model reasoning failures, and contribute to improving the clinical reliability of next-generation AI systems.
Key Responsibilities

ECG Interpretation & Clinical Reasoning
- Develop gold-standard ECG and EKG interpretations with clear diagnostic reasoning.
- Evaluate advanced, real-world ECG cases with attention to edge cases, nuanced differentials, and complex clinical logic.
- Apply expert cardiovascular judgment to subtle arrhythmia, conduction, and pattern-recognition scenarios.

AI Evaluation & Feedback
- Assess the ability of large language models to interpret complex ECG and EKG cases.
- Provide feedback on common model failure modes in clinical reasoning.
- Help improve the accuracy, depth, and reliability of AI-generated cardiovascular interpretation.

Case Development & Expert Collaboration
- Contribute expert insight to case-based evaluation workflows.
- Collaborate directly with research teams at a leading AI lab.
- Support high-quality cardiology assessment design through structured clinical expertise.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
- Completion of a cardiology fellowship in any subspecialty.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
- 2+ years of post-training clinical experience.
- Current location in the United States.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Electrophysiology.
- Primary clinical practice with significant ECG interpretation volume.
- Academic or teaching experience involving residents, fellows, or conference-based education.
- Experience creating case-based assessments, exam questions, or evaluation rubrics.
- Background in complex arrhythmia diagnosis, conduction abnormalities, or subtle ECG pattern recognition.
- Expertise in Clinical Cardiology or other cardiology subspecialties with high ECG exposure.
