Job Description:

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC(Remote). Candidates must have expert hands‑on experience with Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM), along with executing data validation and developing SQL‑based custom scripts.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Execute end‑to‑end Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) processes including data extraction, transformation, and loading for CAD and non‑CAD datasets.

• Perform detailed data validation, integrity checks, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy throughout migration cycles.

• Develop migration strategies, mapping documents, validation rules, and approach documentation for large‑scale PLM data transitions.

• Create and optimize SQL scripts and custom utilities for data analysis, validation automation, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate effectively with onsite/offshore teams and directly engage with customers to gather requirements and resolve technical challenges.

• Support ETL processes and leverage tools such as Informatica or Talend while utilizing scripting languages (Java, Python, Perl) for custom validations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in PLM data migration, Windchill systems, or related technical roles.

• Strong expertise in Windchill architecture, WBM‑based data migration, and large‑scale CAD/non‑CAD data handling.

• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) and scripting (Java, Python, Perl) for custom validation, with familiarity in ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $64.00 per hour
