Job Description
Role Description
The Opportunity: Build the Marketing Machine
Cost Segregation is a technical, high-value "sell." We need a Head of Marketing who is more than a brand builder—we need a Lead Generation expert. Your goal is to turn the "nozzle" on leads and ensure they are nurtured through complex tax-related decision cycles until they become customers. This role is for someone who thinks strategically but can also get their hands dirty building the foundation and optimizing from there.
You will build our marketing muscle from the ground up, building upon the strong tactical foundations already in place across SEO, Ads, and conversion funnels—moving beyond simple ad experiments to create a sophisticated, AI-driven machine that captures the attention of real estate investors and partners while reflecting our brand.
What You Will Own
- Performance Marketing: Own and optimize Ads, SEO, and Retargeting. You must be able to justify every dollar of ad spend by demonstrating a direct line to revenue.
- The Nurture Engine: Use AI to build “expert-led” lead magnets and email sequences in partnership with Sales leadership. You’ll create systems that engage prospects as if they are speaking to a Cost Segregation expert, moving them from “curious” to “ready to buy.” Experience in GoHighLevel is required. Familiarity with Make.com, Zapier, or Claude Cowork is optional but a strong indicator of fit.
- Operations & CRM: Optimize the CRM (GoHighLevel experience required) to ensure no lead is left behind and that all retargeting triggers based on user behavior.
- Site Optimization: Identify gaps on the website and build high-converting landing pages and funnels that clearly communicate the technical benefits of Cost Segregation in a way that drives conversions.
- AI Innovation: Implement AI workflows for content experiments and retargeting to keep acquisition costs low while scaling. Build systems that enable rapid testing and experimentation.
Who You Are
- The “Marketing as a Tool for Sales” Believer: You understand that marketing exists to make the sales team’s job easier. You are a hands-on executor who can both strategize and pull the technical levers. You back up your ideas with clear reasoning and measurable impact.
- Systems Thinker: You see inefficiencies in a CRM or lead flow and feel compelled to improve them.
- Performance Minded: You live in the metrics—lead count, CPL, CAC, and conversion rates. You are motivated by performance and comfortable tying your compensation to the growth you drive.
- AI-Savvy: You actively explore ways to use AI both personally and professionally and are excited to implement these tools (alongside non-AI tools) to outperform traditional linear growth models.
