• Responsible for ongoing maintenance and repair of contracted and non-contracted generator and power distribution equipment • Responsible for technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects • Daily travel with independent work structure • Provide 24x7 “on-call” services as required unless on PTO or Off Call • Maintain and safeguard company issued equipment, tools, and instruments • Battery installations and replacements • Perform required preventative maintenance service to equipment under contract as scheduled • Customer contact and interface • Communicate availability status to corporate office • Protect company proprietary information, manuals, and records • Use of electronic and electrical test equipment as necessary • Coordinate and manage all on-site subcontractors hired by PSS as necessary • Maintain company vehicle in safe and operational condition • Ensure that work is performed to PSS standards • Complete all paperwork, including Field Service Reports, Time Sheets, Expense Reports, and other job required reports timely and accurately • Provide technical support to customers upon request • Maintain Technical documentation for study and/or review • Willing and able to attend training as company deems necessary • Own and maintain personal set of mechanical tools • Cross train in other areas as needed
