Job Description

• Manage and grow sales at key customers and distributors for LANXESS Lubricants Additive Business (LAB) with account and budget responsibility. • Develop and maintain key account plans while keeping CRM current. • Maintain regional and distributor accounts for LANXESS LAB, with full account and budget responsibility for the Southeast region of the U.S. • Sell value vs. competitive offers to gain customer commitments. • Develop product/service improvements for new market opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors and customer offerings. • Trade show participation-AFPM, ILMA, STLE and NLGI as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
  • MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical industry with a preference in the lubricant addtives or asphalt market.
  • Successful track record of qualifying prospects, selling value and closing targets with experience in the chemical industry.
  • Excellent people management, influencing, relationship, team building and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate individuals’ motivations and reactions.
  • Ability to manage complexity to favorable outcomes.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
