Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join our team and help us continue to get our innovative suite of tools into customers hands following our recent $9M Series A.. You will be responsible for building and managing our customer base while driving revenue growth for Renterra. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new customers, but you will also have the opportunity to build our sales strategies and help shape the company's overall direction.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Build a robust sales pipeline with outbound sales efforts and manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing deals
Consistently hit cold calling and demo setting activity metrics
Customer Acquisition:
Engage with prospects to understand their rental software needs
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our modern rental software
Develop and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in collaboration with the executive team
Networking and Industry Engagement:
Attend relevant industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to promote our rental software and establish strategic partnerships.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the rental space to provide thought leadership and valuable insights to clients
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the founding team to refine sales strategies, pricing models, and go-to-market plans
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales collateral, marketing campaigns, and product messaging
Qualifications:
2+ years of full cycle sales experience with a proven track record of success, preferably in construction software or B2B (SMB) technology sales
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner
Self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Demonstrated ability to problem solve with key stakeholders at all levels, from executives to end-users
Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
Understanding of how the equipment rental industry works and how rental software plays a key role in their operations is a plus, but not required
