Job Description

• Drive Account Strategy: Lead a portfolio of strategic accounts across industries, creating and executing long-term growth plans in partnership with phData’s Go-to-Market, Delivery, and Partner teams. • Own Revenue & Profitability: Deliver $5 –15M+ in annual bookings through both net-new and expansion work, ensuring profitable, scalable growth across your accounts. • Build Executive Relationships: Cultivate trusted advisor status with CxOs and senior business leaders; lead strategic discussions across business and IT stakeholders. • Champion Client Outcomes: Maintain ~40% utilization, staying close to the delivery of programs to ensure high-impact results and exceptional client satisfaction. • Elevate Our Brand: Represent phData at industry events, conferences, and panels, helping grow our presence and reputation within your vertical. • Leverage Ecosystem Partners: Activate and grow partnerships (e.g., Snowflake, AWS) to bring added value to clients and accelerate growth. • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate across Go-to-Market, Delivery, Finance, and Product teams to align on account health, project success, and future opportunity.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of consulting experience in your vertical (deep in-house industry experience will be considered in lieu of consulting).
  • Proven success owning and scaling a strategic account portfolio, with the ability to engage in meaningful business and technology discussions—not just sell services.
  • Proven track record owning and growing strategic accounts, including responsibility for $5–15M+ in annual revenue targets.
  • Hands-on collaboration with data and technology teams: Partner closely with data engineering, analytics, and ML teams to design, sell, and oversee implementation of modern data solutions (data platforms, pipelines, governance, analytics, and AI)
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and influence strategic roadmaps across both IT and business stakeholders.
  • Credibility built on meaningful results—long tenure in a role where you drove significant revenue, retention, and/or transformation outcomes.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver client success.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, depending on client needs and business priorities.
