Role Description

Philip J. Boren is looking for a passionate, organized, and driven individual to join our skilled team as an E-Commerce Account Manager. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of managing assigned accounts and delivering results. You will focus on building strong relationships and taking ownership of client inputs to ensure exceptional client experience and sales growth. With a strategic and tactical mindset, you’ll dive into activities like:

  • Account strategy development
  • Forecasting
  • Pricing strategy and implementation
  • Marketing initiatives
  • Content creation and optimization
  • Catalog management
  • Negotiations
  • KPI reporting

The E-Commerce Account Manager will be supported by internal resources such as site merchandisers, content creation specialists, marketing specialists, data scientists, and operations specialists.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple competing priority projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize workload in an ever-changing, ambiguous environment
  • Ability to learn and deep dive into business metrics to drive action
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including advanced Excel skills
  • Desire to test and learn new tools, technologies, and sales strategies
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, mathematics, finance, computer science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of industry experience in E-commerce account management
  • 3+ years of Amazon.com Vendor Central and/or Seller Central experience required
  • Prior experience working with or at Amazon, Walmart.com, or Wayfair is highly preferred
  • In-depth working knowledge of E-commerce online selling portals (Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Walmart.com) required
  • Online marketing or branding experience

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer for a full day with occasional breaks
  • Sitting and/or standing in front of the computer with a camera on for several hours daily for conference calls
  • Ability to work in the office for in-person meetings with clients and travel to client meetings outside the office, as needed
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
