Role Description
OWT Global’s ADAD Business Development (BD) Mission Director is responsible for all business development and capture activities to drive growth within the ADAD directorate. The directorate lead has a holistic understanding of the C-UAS mission, technologies throughout the entire kill-chain, and unmanned traffic management.
- Identify, qualify, and capture opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and other federal government customers.
- Establish and extend trusted relationships between OWT Global personnel and their peers throughout industry and government.
- Demonstrate success in identifying tactical and strategic opportunities.
- Execute bid strategies, teaming agreements, pricing strategies, and proposal development for all opportunities across the ADAD directorate.
- Work cross-functionally with contracts, finance, PMO, and the OWT leadership team.
- Located in Tampa, Florida with remote employment consideration pending suitability and the ability to travel frequently to CONUS and potentially OCONUS locations as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance (with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI)
- B.S. or B.A. in a relevant field
- 5-8 years of demonstrated success supporting business development and capture of programs within the DoD, IC, and federal government contract space (or) 10 years of combined military service and industry experience.
Requirements
- Demonstrated tactical day-to-day success while being a strategic thinker with long-term directorate growth focus.
- Experience in leading and winning multi-million-dollar ADAD related opportunities from identification through proposal submission.
- Established relationships with government customers relevant to OWT Global business.
- Extensive organizational and mission knowledge of relevant customer government organizations.
- Understanding of the new business pursuit lifecycle, with proven experience in developing and winning new business.
- Experience with the successful execution of all phases of a capture effort, including planning, teaming, proposal development, and price-to-win analyses.
- Ability to advance large-scale opportunities through the entire capture life cycle with an emphasis on opportunities 18-36 months ahead of solicitation release successfully.
- Knowledge of competitors and ability to model competitor behaviors in the market.
- Great communicator – both oral and written.
- Detail-oriented with the goal of delivering an accurate and precise work product.
- Can organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly changing business environment.
- Ability to create and sustain excellent long-term customer relationships.
- Enjoyment with working in a team-oriented, fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
- Routine CRM and pipeline management.
- Experience with GovCon market intelligence platforms.
- Demonstrated communications and interpersonal soft skills.
