We are currently seeking a BigFix Engineer to join our team in Arlington (REMOTE), Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).
Job Summary:
The BigFix Engineer manages server patching and security compliance within Windows Engineering, specializing in the HCL BigFix ecosystem to maintain high uptime across the Windows Server fleet. Using custom Fixlets, Tasks, and Baselines authored in Relevance and ActionScript, this role performs surgical deployments of security agents and patches to meet aggressive compliance SLAs. The role also functions as a technical auditor, leveraging BigFix’s real-time visibility to identify coverage gaps in MECM data and ensure 100% enterprise visibility. By maintaining the BigFix infrastructure and enforcing CIS/STIG hardening benchmarks, the BigFix Engineer remediates configuration drift and provides the definitive source of truth for server vulnerability status and reporting.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience supporting software development/engineering/maintenance roles and responsibilities.
- Master's degree; One-and-one-half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Starting pay range for this remote role is $105,840 - $245,000.
- Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
- This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
