Role Description
RTX is seeking a Directory Management Life Cycle Specialist to join our Directory Management Operations Life Cycle team. This role will work with various vendors and stakeholders to help maintain enterprise wide solutions. This role is responsible for supporting the management of multiple Active Directory domains, Azure cloud environments, and the tools supporting them. Further responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, documenting processes and procedures, non-standard change implementations and participating in program / project calls.
- Support the installation, configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance of Active Directory governance and directory management tools, ensuring a secure, stable, and compliant identity platform.
- Support core operational processes for Active Directory, including promoting and demoting domain controllers, maintaining Sites and Services, performing routine health checks, and applying patches and upgrades to directory management systems.
- Review and update technical and operational documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and effective knowledge sharing.
- Participate in production support for Sev 1 and Sev 2 incidents, assisting with troubleshooting, remediation, and service restoration in collaboration with senior team members.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Experience supporting large, multi-forest Active Directory environments.

- Works independently with minimal supervision and provides clear, documented updates and metrics.
- Learns new tools and concepts quickly.
- Knowledge of change management processes.
- Working knowledge in scripting (PowerShell).
- Experience with One Identity Active Roles.
- Familiar with reviewing logs using Splunk.
- Strong team collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Able to troubleshoot complex issues with limited guidance.
