The Durable Medical Equipment Consultant will review Medicaid Prior Authorizations based on medical necessity according to State policy guidelines, provide support to Medicaid Providers, and serve as a clinical Subject Matter Expert for internal Gainwell entities. Primary duties involve adjudicating DME prior authorizations, evaluating submissions using multiple systems, and entering outcomes into the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).
