Job Description

• Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business plans for national retail accounts • Build and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts and broker network • Understand needs, objectives, and challenges while developing strategies to drive growth • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals while adhering to an annual trade budget • Identify opportunities for upselling, optimizing products or services • Negotiate contracts/pricing and develop joint sales plans • Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with company objectives • Work cross-functionally to drive business plans • Analyze sales data, market trends, and other relevant information • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present opportunities for improvement • Lead by example and create an environment that encourages motivation • Set clear goals and performance expectations

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years consumer packaged goods experience including regional, corporate, or national account and/or Category Management.
  • Bachelor degree highly preferred
  • High level of proficiency in working directly with Senior Level Management within a client’s headquarters.
  • Highly customer focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong and proven leadership skills.
  • Experience building, managing, and mentoring a dedicated team.
  • Strong cross-functional exposure / experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customers- Aldi and Sam's Club experience a plus
