• Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time across multiple states. • Ensure proper handling of salaries, bonuses, benefits, deductions, and payroll taxes. • Partner closely with People & Culture on new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and other payroll-impacting updates. • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in accordance with internal controls and compliance requirements. • Respond to internal payroll-related inquiries from employees with professionalism and discretion. • Support accounts payable activities, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing. • Assist with accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment application, and follow-up. • Participate in month-end close activities related to payroll, AP, and AR. • Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules for financial reporting. • Assist with year-end compliance activities, including 1099 preparation and filing. • Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll and accounting processes as the firm scales. • Serve as backup support for other Finance functions as needed.
