Job Description
• Develop and execute Eight Sleep’s global IP strategy
• Manage preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent and trademark applications
• Conduct FTO, prior art, and clearance analyses
• Oversee IP due diligence for strategic partnerships
• Provide practical legal advice on IP matters
• Support global brand protection and oversee broader legal issues
Job Requirements
- J.D. degree
- Active membership in at least one US state bar
- 5-10 years of legal experience as a practicing attorney
- Strong experience with patent prosecution and global IP strategy
- Experience with commercial agreements and partnerships
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience managing outside counsel
