Then here's a great opportunity for you as an Associate Attorney with Siegel Jennings Property Tax Law supporting our Chicago practice. The ideal candidate will be available to work remote in IL, PA, or OH and must be licensed to practice law within the state of Illinois.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Illinois and be in good standing.
- Attorneys should have 3-7 years of experience, preferably within the property tax field.
- Strong work ethic and eager for opportunities for professional growth.
- Detail-oriented, meets deadlines, and effectively manages a full caseload.
- Ability to work independently in a supportive environment and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; polished presenter and public speaker.
Requirements
- Legal research and writing.
- Drafting and responding to discovery, pleadings, motions, briefs, and petitions.
- Handling a volume litigation caseload that does include some litigation.
- Travel throughout Illinois 102 counties for administrative and court appearances and to our other offices.
- Appearing at administrative hearings throughout Illinois and at trial court conferences, oral arguments, and evidentiary hearings.
- Attending real estate valuation training provided by the firm.
- Attend local and national industry conferences, as requested.
